U.S. Economy Rebounds in the Second Quarter

The first reading from the Commerce Department on U.S. second-quarter gross domestic product shows the economy rebounded from negative growth in the first quarter. Second-quarter GDP rose at an annualized pace of 2.3%, coming in short of economists’ expectations for a 2.6% increase.
